Megan Klein, the founder of Little Saints, sold the first batch of Little Saints cans in Detroit in the summer of 2021 as a solution to my own pandemic problem: love cocktails, hate hangovers.
Prior to founding Little Saints, Megan was your classic work hard, play hard corporate professional. During the day, she exercised, ate healthy, and worked hard. At night, she rewarded herself with cocktails. Socializing always went hand-in-hand with drinking, and it wasn’t until the pandemic that she realized the damage that booze was doing to her mental and physical health.
That doesn’t mean she ever wanted to stop drinking; she just wanted to drink something that was better than alcohol. After deciding to do Dry January in 2021 and buying every non-alcoholic option she could find, everything was full of sugar, and nothing captured the essence of a really good cocktail—no smell, no feeling.
With the help of an expert food scientist, Megan set out to create Little Saints: zero sugar, non-alcoholic cocktails and spirits fueled by mushrooms, eliminating the need to choose between having fun or feeling good.
Since Little Saints’ beginning, they have served drinks to thousands of people who have a similar experience: they know alcohol isn’t making them feel their best, but they don’t want to quit drinking. Little Saints exists so that no one has to settle – we really can have it all.
With a curious and proprietary blend of 100mg organic reishi mushroom and botanical terpenes (i.e. aromatics), our ready-to-drink plant magic mocktails deliver the flavors and mood-boosting sensations of traditional cocktails, without alcohol or sugar. Tastes great on ice, chilled in a coup glass, or straight from the can at the beach.
For the creators, mixers and slow sippers, our non-alcoholic spirits contain 100 mg organic lion’s mane mushroom and a unique blend of plant extracts for bold and complex flavors that won’t be diluted in your favorite cocktails. Sip neat, on ice or in a cocktail for a non-intoxicating brain buzz that will heighten creativity and deepen conversations.
The possibilities are endless! We think our canned NA cocktails taste best poured into a glass on ice, or served cold from the fridge. St. Ember tastes great simply over ice, and if you want to get fancy you can look up cocktail recipes in our blog.
We encourage consuming Little Saints in lieu of booze to enhance sociability without the negative side effects. Having said that, we’re not rule makers around here, so do whatever you want in the comfort of your own home.
To our knowledge, and based on the research presented to us by our ingredient suppliers, there are no limits here to the number of Little Saints you can consume in a day. The amount of fluid you can consume is your only limitation.
