Social Media Intern
Position Overview
The Social Media Intern will assist the marketing team in executing social media campaigns, driving audience engagement, and building brand awareness across various platforms. This role offers practical, hands-on experience in content strategy, copywriting, and analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Creation: Brainstorm, write, and design engaging captions, graphics, and short-form video content for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
- Content Scheduling: Help develop and manage weekly and monthly editorial calendars.
- Community Management: Monitor social media channels, respond to comments and direct messages (DMs) in a professional brand voice, and engage with followers.
- Analytics & Reporting: Track social media metrics, report on campaign performance, and identify high-performing content.
- Research & Trends: Stay up-to-date with current digital culture, trending audio, and social media best practices.
Qualifications & Skills
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Strong working knowledge of major social media platforms.
- Excellent written communication and storytelling skills.
- Basic graphic design and video-editing skills (e.g., Canva, CapCut) are a plus.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and adhere to deadlines.
